ARORA Launcher privacy policy
ARORA Launcher is made by Coding Monkey Labs. Last updated: 26 October 2026.
ARORA reads the names, icons and Android identifiers of apps that can be launched on the TV. It uses them to show the app grid and open the app the viewer selects. It can also read which Home apps are available so the viewer can return to the original Home screen or request the system Home chooser.
The TV stores the viewer’s app order, last selected app, original Home choice, custom launcher title, and appearance preferences in app-private settings. ARORA has no Internet permission, account, ads, analytics, or developer-operated server. Coding Monkey Labs does not receive or share those settings or the app inventory. Choosing another app hands control to that app, which has its own privacy practices.
Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for ARORA data. The viewer can erase local settings using Android Settings → Apps → ARORA Launcher → Clear storage, or by uninstalling ARORA. There is no account or remote profile to delete. No data retention period applies to the local settings; they remain until cleared or the app is removed.
